My twin sister and I were born into an Assemblies of God family in Glenrock, Wyoming. Our older brother was born in Scottsbluff, Nebraska. My brother is now a retired Assembly of God pastor, and my sister Mary is a retired nurse.
Most of our growing up days were spent on a farm north of Seattle, Washington. We attended Northwest University, as have six of our children and three of our grandchildren, most of whom are in the ministry today. After graduation, I went to Idaho Falls, Idaho as an associated pastor at First Assembly.
Teeny and I were married in her hometown of Salmon, Idaho. Two days later, we arrived in Polson, Montana as pastors, where our three children were born. Ten years later we accepted the pastorate at Christian Center in Bozeman, Montana. Seventeen years later, we left to pastor the church in Sidney, Montana. In 1987 we were asked to become associates here at Christian Center. Thank God for health that has allowed me fifty six years of ministry.
Teeny passed away in June of 2004. I have continued to minister, thanking the Lord for family and friends. I also enjoy hunting, fishing, hiking, and camping.
On October 2, 2010, Marilyn Barger and I were married. She had been a pastor's wife for many years. Twelve years after Eugene's passing, she is back in the ministry, and is at my side here at Christian Center. What a blessing
We enjoy fishing, hiking and camping.
