Our Call
In 1990, Thom and I left our job, family, and home to follow the Lord's call into missions. Since that time, He has taken us many places -- we have been to 46 states (including Alaska), 3 Canadian provinces, and Mexico. We worked as M.A.P.S. workers (Mission America Placement Service) for five years on the reservations of North & South Dakota at Central Indian Bible College training Native Americans for ministry. Then we traveled nine western states for 3 years conducting Kid’s Crusades and doing Discipleship Training. After that we worked with YWAM (Youth with a Mission) for 3 years, working primarily with inner-city youth, women's ministries, and conducting "Foundations Seminars." The next several years, we traveled all over the country (as well as Israel, Canada and Mexico) doing a variety of different ministries -- praying across America (at capital buildings, historical sites, and on the streets of our beloved country); ministering on the streets and in parks; speaking at churches, Bible studies, and retreats; working at youth camps; and coming alongside the leadership of home fellowships, and small churches to help with training and equipping their leadership and church bodies.
Our ministry has taken many turns, but our vision has not changed, namely, "To know Him, and to make Him known!" Our desire is to see a passion rekindled in the Bride of Christ! The picture that we believe the Lord has given us is that of the friend of the bridegroom – whose job is to see that the bride maintains her passion and purity as she awaits her soon returning Bridegroom! Our job is to cry out to the bride to return to Him, put aside other loves, and passionately pursue her Beloved!
