  SMALL GROUPS DIRECTORY

Every Christ-follower in this family of believers needs two regular expressions in their spiritual journey: “Big” church (weekend services) and “Small” church (small groups). This brochure is provided to connect you to “small church” opportunities...our healthy and growing network of small groups at Christian Center. There’s probably a group out there that’s a perfect “fit” for you—but if not, let’s begin a new one! It’s so much more meaningful to do your faith with other people. Loving relationships in authentic community is what it’s all about!

Warmly, Pastor John, Lead Pastor

MINISTRY GROUPS
ministry@kalispellchristiancenter.org
Mary Kay, 752-6428 x241

At Christian Center we believe that the Bible calls every believer to a ministry in their local church. Our vision is to become a prevailing community of servants living out Jesus' command to love. We see that picture of a fully-functioning church in I Peter 2:9 – "…You are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God…" We believe that every Christ follower has an important role to play in the life of the church, and that every member of Christian Center is a minister of the gospel of Jesus Christ.

We want our opportunities for service to be so attractive to people that not serving for the common good is unthinkable. We believe Jesus' words when He says, “The greatest of all is the servant of all” (Mark 10:43-44), and “The way of true love is to lay down our lives for others” (John 15:13). We want to invite and motivate people toward involvement.

Our purposes in ministry are to help people discover all of who they are in Jesus, to understand and exercise the Spiritual Gifts they have been given, to find avenues of ministry in the context of teams, and to celebrate and sustain serving others for a lifetime. Consider yourself invited to serve God and His people.

At Christian Center we believe that every man should have a David, a Samuel, and a Timothy in their lives. David would be that close friend with whom you can be real and share life together. A mentor would be a Samuel investing in the lives of others who are still maturing. Finally a Timothy, some younger man or boy that we may spend time with helping them grow and develop in all aspects of their lives. Below are ways we can develop these aspects of our lives.
