Welcome to “Ministry”… the serving arm of the fully devoted Christ follower! Our vision is to become a prevailing community of ministering servants living out Jesus' command to put love into action. We see this picture of a fully-functioning church in I Peter 2:9, "…You are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God …" We believe that every Christ follower has an important role to play in the life of this church family, and that every believer at Christian Center is a minister of the message of God’s love.
We want our opportunities of service to be so attractive to people that not serving according to our ministry gifts is unthinkable. We believe Jesus' words when He says the greatest of all is the servant of all (Mark 10:43-44), and the way of true love is to lay down our lives for others (John 15:13). We want to earnestly invite and motivate people toward ministry involvement.
Our purpose in Ministry is to help people discover all of who they are in Jesus, to understand and exercise the spiritual “gift(s)” they have been given, to find avenues of serving in ministry in the context of team(s), and to celebrate and sustain that service for a lifetime.
