Family squabbles. Holiday spending. Planes, trains and…donkeys? You may be surprised to know that it all began “One Bethlehem Night.” This year Christian Center presents its FREE musical, a witty tale of an infamous innkeeper and other unlikely characters who were witness to that very first Christmas when Mary and Joseph found "no room at the inn."
May we make room in our hearts for Jesus - and may this be a Christmas of renewed faith for all of us.
Christian Center's Broadway-style musical features live vocals, period costumes and an enchanting theatrical setting. Krista VanHelden, a yearly participant and member of the leadership team for the past six years, is this year's producer, music director and will play the role of Mary. Sean Morgan will once again direct and play the role of Mordecai. Jason Morgan, Christian Center's Children's pastor, will play the role of Simeon, the innkeeper.
Other members of the cast are: Stephen Jensen as Joseph, Brechta Morgan as the inkeeper's wife, Steve Morgan as Ezra the rabbi, Marsha O'Brien as the rabbi's wife and over 200 others who volunteer to make this a memorable gift to the community. |
