Discipleship at Kalispell Christian Center

Life Transformation by the Holy Spirit
Our purpose in Discipleship Ministries is to create an atmosphere of transformation in which a person is encouraged to become like Jesus Christ, in a family of believers.

The Discipleship Path and Small Groups are two of our primary strategies for individuals to lean more about growing as a Christian, becoming accountable for the application of Biblical truth and developing relationships with others.

The Discipleship Path consists of varying levels of classes aimed at the newer or nonbeliever through those who may be long time believers but still hunger to grow in their knowledge of God. These classes normally meet at the Church.

Small Groups usually take place in homes but might meet
at a coffee shop, on motorcycles or hiking in the Rocky Mountains. They cover all ages and meet for various purposes from Bible studies to just experiencing life together.

How can you get involved?

If any of these groups sound like something from which you’d benefit, we would be delighted to help you in attending or starting a Small Group.

THE DISCIPLESHIP PATH
The Discipleship Path is designed to get you toward the goal of becoming a fully devoted follower of Jesus. Seminars are a way of connecting in a group of about 5-20 people at Church on a Sunday morning. These Bible-based seminars are teaching oriented and tend to be interactive.

SUNDAYS

SPIRITUAL DISCIPLINES
If you took the membership class this fall with Pastor Gregg, this would be a good follow-up class for you. However, this class is for anyone wanting to develop life-changing disciplines.  We will look at spiritual disciplines that will aid you in your spiritual growth.  Disciplines, such as Simplicity, Solitude, Meditation, Bible Study and Prayer will keep you on the path of spiritual renewal day by day. 6 weeks.
Start date: Jan. 10
Teacher: Susie Sullivan, 752-3024
Location: Room 101

FOUNDATIONS
We have all heard many times the story of the wise man who built his house on the rock, and the foolish man who built his house on the sand. The difference between the two men is the foundation they chose to build upon. Our foundation must be made of: the truth, according to Scripture, about the nature of God, and His love for us. Other topics that will be covered (prayer, biblical patterns for life and ministry, strongholds, and learning to recognize the voice of God) are then built upon that foundation.
Start date: Jan. 24
Teacher: JoAnn Roberts, 752-6426
Location: Room 002

PROPHETS AND KINGS - ISAIAH
When studying the prophets and kings of Israel, stopping to take a longer look at Isaiah is a must. It is the “crown jewel” of the prophetic books, covering everything from the sins of the southern kingdom to the coming of Christ and our future home on the new earth. It is written with such finesse and beauty that the reader not only sees into the heart of the prophet, but into the heart of God. As always, we will study not only the book itself but the history that prompted its writing.
