What is today known as " Christian Center" had its humble beginnings in 1915, and in 1929, the church became affiliated with the Assemblies of God. Where Bob Ross was elected Pastor in 1978, the church purchased property on Summit Ridge Drive for a new building which was completed and dedicated in June 1986. In October 1998, John Gregg was elected Pastor. He and his wife Carey, and their four children, have come to lead the church into the 21st Century. The church continues to grow (avg. Sunday attendance 2,500), more land has been acquired, and in September 2002 a major new expansion was completed - on a campus which now encompasses 80,000 sq. ft. of ministry space on 22 acres.

Christian Center has been graciously blessed by God to know some 80 years of continuous ministry. We stand more committed today than ever before to loving God and loving people, and to growing fully-devoted followers of Jesus Christ. We simply believe that the local church is the hope of the world!
